Well, I won't lie-I'm just a farm girl from the midwest. Nothing fancy but we sure do have a nice life in this sleepy little town! I'm the mom of three, a wife of 16 years, an ex-Navy wife, part-time EMT for a local ambulance service, and the kind of girl you'll never, ever pull out of the country!
So, where did BUD come from? Great question. 3 years ago I started my own children's clothing line for girls-devoted to little horse lovers. In just one year my business had grown from one sale a month to a steady stream of daily sales-all from word of mouth and Ebay advertising (selling on ebay). While busy building my business, I happened upon an incredible group of like-minded business women and mothers and after really soul searching (with their help), I knew I really wanted to pursue my dream of being a professional writer.
So, I sold my clothing business and turned my writing skills into a flourishing copywriting business (hello, Creative Writing Studios!).
Though I now had a new business, I still had a pile of resources, media contacts, retail contacts and other resources from my clothing business. After speaking with countless clients and reading on all my social groups about how hard it is to find retailers who accept new products-well, a lightbulb turned on.
Why not take these resources I had aquired and do something useful with them? A little research, a little magic and *sha-zam* BUD was born.
BUD is a constant work in progress and I love every moment of it. I work daily to find new retailers and resources for YOU to provude retail resources you'd otherwise have to look all over for.
I hope you love BUD as much as I love working on it for you. Spread the word. Don't let BUD go to waste!
